This course is an accessible, hands-on introduction to the mindset and methods of public design. It helps civil servants discover how design connects policy intent, user insight, and operational delivery to create measurable public value in everyday governmental contexts.
It blends short talks, active collaborative tasks, and structured group reflections, mapping the direct applications of design to the specific needs of participants' home teams.

The workshop has no prerequisites and is designed to serve all grades and professions across the Civil Service. It is suitable for anyone who participates in the design, delivery, or review of public policies, services, or departmental programs.
